Lion M Miraz Hossain organized free eye care services for poor adults

On 16th March 2022, Lion M Miraz Hossain, the director of the Lions Club of Mohakhali Friends, provided free eye surgeries and various eye treatments to poor old men and women in Dhanmondi. In collaboration with British ophthalmologists David Ryder and Jonah Anderson, the service was provided to 80 elderly people from across the country. Special award to M Miraz Hossain for one of the top-selling books at Ekushey Book Fair 2022

At this year’s Ekushey Book Fair, young writer M Miraz Hossain has received a special award from the publishing house Nowroz Kitabistan for his book “Apon Nama”. On Tuesday, March 15, Manzur Khan Chowdhury, the head of the publishing house, presented the crest to him at an honors ceremony at the Book Fair premises. On 19th February, at Ekushey Book Fair 2022, the second book “Apon Nama” by the new writer M Miraz Hossain was published. এবারের একুশে বইমেলায় নবীন লেখক এম মিরাজ হোসেন তার “আপন নামা” বইয়ের জন্য প্রকাশনী প্রতিষ্ঠান নওরোজ কিতাবিস্তান থেকে বিশেষ সম্মাননা পদক পেয়েছেন। ১৫ই মার্চ মঙ্গলবার, বইমেলা প্রাঙ্গনে একটি সম্মাননা অনুষ্ঠানের মাধ্যমে তার হাতে পদক তুলে দেন প্রকাশনী প্রতিষ্ঠানের কর্নধার মনজুর খান চৌধুরী। গত ১৯শে ফেব্রুয়ারী, একুশে বইমেলা ২০২২-এ নবীন লেখক এম মিরাজ হোসেনের দ্বিতীয় বই “আপন নামা” প্রকাশিত হয়। আত্মজীবনীমূলক এই বইটি প্রকাশের পর থেকে পাঠক মহলে ব্যাপক সমাদৃত হয়। প্রকাশের প্রথম ৭ দিনেই বইটি প্রায় ৫ হাজার কপি বিক্রি হয়। এবারের মেলার শীর্ষ ১০ বিক্রীত বইয়ের মধ্যে এই বইটি স্থান করে নিয়েছে।
