Author M Miraz Hossain’s fourth novel ‘Tobu Ful Futuk’ has been published at this year’s Ekushey Book Fair. Set in a rural background, this novel has already become quite popular. Readers of different ages throng the stalls of Nowroze Kitabistan, the book publishing house, every day.
Author M Miraz Hossain said about the book, “The book Tobu Ful Futuk is written under the shadow of a true incident. It is a strange, chilling story that happens to a family in the remote village of Rasulpur. Various tensions between love and family have come up in this story. The book is loved by readers of almost all ages. Although the market for this book is quite high, the book is selling well. The book’s second edition is already over and the third edition is in progress. Along with the new book, my last year’s book ‘Byakhyatit’ is also selling well. Its third printing is currently over, and the fourth is in progress.
It is to be noted that last year M Miraz Hossain’s second book “Apon Nama” was declared the highest-selling book of Nowroze Kitabistan and one of the best-selling books of Ekushey Book Fair – 2022. Each of his books is of a different genre. In this regard, writer M Miraz Hossain said, “I never make up stories. There are some strange events in every human life. I only express in writing those events that I have seen and known. My writings are somehow related to my life.”
M Miraz Hossain is basically a businessman. Even during busy times, he writes out of his love for literature. Along with his popularity among readers, he has won several domestic and foreign awards. Last year, he received the Indira Gandhi Golden Award from the India-Bangladesh Sahitya Sanskriti Parishad in West Bengal and the Gold Medal from the Manav Vikas Parishad in Assam for his significant contribution to literature.
Apart from writing novels, he writes regular short stories on his Facebook called “Anugalpo” which are well-liked by the readers. The popularity and expectations of his books and writings among readers are increasing day by day. Respecting the love of readers, he wants to focus more on writing in the coming days. He urged everyone to read more Bengali books.
